THIS INFORMATION IS OUT OF DATE.
ONE DAY WHEN WE’RE NOT BUSY WE’LL UPDATE IT!

This page contains information about different wastewater system options. It also contains comments by users of those systems. CBC does not recommend any particular system(s) on a general basis (the specific site, situation and circumstances must be considered) and does not take commissions or fees for specifying any wastewater systems.

The real value of this site will come from users posting their experiences, good and bad with each system. Click on the title of each post to read comments and to leave your own.

We encourage you to contribute so that others may learn from your experiences. We shall endeavour to moderate comments as little as possible, to maintain the richness of information, so please be responsible and provide facts and honest opinion and avoid defamation. CBC do not necessarily endorse any of the comments made – our aim is to provide a forum for discussion. One thing we will say: all systems have some limitations and need some management, so negative comments need to be appreciated in this context.

There are a number of posts about different systems on this page, in a draft format to kick-start discussion. Please note that the original posts are the view of CBC only and are general (ie applying to a class of system, not individual systems). Each system has benefits and disbenefits that will differ depending on the site and situation. The complex interactions of these factors cannot be appreciated solely by looking at this page – rather you should engage a wastewater consultant to work through these factors with you.
